nice work. Not your best though... I think it might look better if you cropped the bottom part of the tree off imo

Definitely a tighter crop would be better here.
I think you still have a convincing composition if you crop it to show less.
It would then make a very nice abstract. Agree on getting ride of the lowest section of the tree.

I would also consider darkening the blacks slightly.

Like the formation of the branches as you try to show here.

I'd change that border of yours (what is it? gray+black)...
