Very nice composition and sharpness. Very nice crop too! Think that both yellow and red colors could be slightly brighter and more saturated. You could for example use selective color red/yellow and reduce the amount of black (in PS).

Hummm the question seam to be about the sat... I kinda like it like that, it calmer smoother, it has the morning feeling of not being well awaken and still seeing things with light colors. I also love the light and detail on the bee.

Given the method used - excellent result. Good comp, and i like the non saturated colours. The shiny wings are always a problem in these shots. Needs attention, and learning how to reduce this distracting effect to minimum. Difficult, and not always possible.

Looks fab. Well-composed, good DOF, and all that. As to the saturation, I quite like where the image is at. Given the title, I think having slightly muted colors contribute to the idea that it's a morning image--a bit quieter, more leisurely meal. A punchier color scheme would radically alter that mood, I think.
