Description

I found some old and pretty scratchy magnifying glass, and decided to try it!
I'm so happy Who needs expensive macro optics anyway ;)

Impatiently waiting to hear your comments and critics :)

Cheers ;)

I set camera to manual focus, focal length to 70mm and put a magnifying glass in the front of the lens. With change of my distance from the subject, the focus changes. It works with AF as well, but I like MF more :)

That's a wonderful macro image!

The only thing I'd change is that two of the "tentacles" are a little too blurry and look like their background. If you could, maybe you'd like and try to sharpen them.

Wow, I thought I was using primitive methods for getting a macro effect when I took this: Creation by  Azurite A technique I just learned and that I'm quite excited about, but you beat me there. A magnifying glass, wow!

And the result is awesome! Beautiful colours and sharpness.
